Alright I took my window amp apart and I've re-soldered all of the points. The button on my switch isn't working (loose) but I've taken it apart to were I can manually move the sliding piece that works the windows. All I got out of that was a clicking noise from the amp, before and after I did the soldering.

I've been fooling with this today and I just wired these four wires together and cut the switch on and the driver's window started rolling down on its on. Any light anyone could shed on this, you'd be an  .. lol

^^^ those are the wires I found

^^^ there I connected them and that connection rolled the window down when I cut the switch on

^^^ here's a picture to show where I found the wires in proportion to the door, just to give a better idea of where they're located

*** I did search the forum before I made this thread, found nothing similar.

I just swapped the wires around and they rolled the window back up.. also the switch won't do anything when you're rolling the window up and down

That window amp is just a relay to guide the window up and down without burning out the motor and the switch. It also controls the auto down feature... I re soldered mine and it works great now lol... Just be careful with what ur doing ur goin to blow fuses or burn that motor out.

I tried the resoldering method and didn't get anything.. but I may have blown the amp by fooling with those wires :/ , but i just got a 240 parts car and pulled the door panel off and it had a plug with the male and female ends connected to those 4 wires I was talking about. I wired that in and didn't get anything either.. next step is to use the parts car's amp. from there i guess we'll see

I replaced the window motor and it works now.

i think my motor is good tho, cause when i crossed those wires it'd go up and down fine.. its almost like its missing something in the wiring
