What's going on all? To make a long story short, my SR20 swapped 240sx was hit by a woman that blew a stop sign, and I'm hoping to sell the entire car in one piece. Insurance lowballed the hell out of me and $2k will get me to my break-even point for what I paid for the car this past December. I just did a rough add-up of what I could part it out for and it would definitely be over $2k, but living in NYC I just don't have the space to really do a full part-out.

So this leads me to my question... does $2000 seem fair for this car in this condition? It's got a good amount of mods and was great up until it was hit. I have had a few replies from my craigslist ad already, but I'm hoping to have this thing gone by this weekend if I can, so I'm definitely trying to make my price attractive. Any opinions/criticism would be appreciated!

To give some background, I purchased a 240sx drift car around November/December of this past year. A few weeks ago a woman in an SUV blew a stop sign right in front of me, and I t-boned her. The car was of course deemed a total loss by insurance(they didn't count mods and valued it at $1,400), and I doubt that it would be worth fixing. Damaged parts include the front bumper, driver's side fender, hood, FMIC, rad support, and koyo radiator. The frame isn't straight but I guess it could be pulled and repaired if you wanted to go that route.

I would sell the car for $2,000 FIRM as a whole. Anything less and I'll just part it out myself, as there's plenty more money in parts in it. This includes just about everything that you would need to build a 300+ rwhp drift car, and with the head work you'll be able to drift without grenading your motor by the end of every season. Please don't bother contacting me with a lowball offer, and PLEASE don't waste my time if you expect to show up with $1,500 cash and take it away.

I've been getting a lot of people asking if the car is driveable. NO, it will need to be towed. Like I said above, the radiator and FMIC are damaged, so I wouldn't attempt to start the car.

The car has a lot of mods done and was built as a drift car. Unfortunately, I only had the chance to do a handful of parking lot slides before the car was hit. I put together a mod list off the top of my head, but I'm sure that there are things that I'm forgetting:

- SR20DET Red Top - ~60k miles, has about 5k on the newly worked head (3 angle valve job, tomei rocker arm stoppers, bronze valve guides, cometics gasket, ARP studs)
- Greddy Intake Manifold
- Greddy Oil Pan
- Greddy BOV (external dump)
- TIAL 38mm Wastegate
- New-ish eBay Turbo (top mounted)
- 6 puck unsprung clutch (very aggressive)
- B&M Short Shifter
- Welded diff
-Strut braces front and rear
- JIC Coilovers
-Walbro 255lph fuel pump

PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR:

- The coilovers are soft on the passenger side specifically, and should be revalved or replaced
- Steering rack leaked so the power steering was deleted via a looped fluid line. All parts still there, plus a power steering cooler as well.
- Cosmetically the body was in pretty good shape without many dents or anything, but it has a cheap flat black paint job. Not rattle-canned or anything, but its nothing fantastic. I had planned to buy an Origin bodykit and get a professional prep/paint this coming winter.

Haha, I would if I could. Unfortunately live in Queens and don't have anywhere to really do that big of a project without having neighbors complaining. Plus I really have no place to store the parts for those few days in between the old and new car. I'm pretty set on selling it in one piece to avoid the trouble, but I'll part it out and rent a storage unit for a month or two if I need to.
