so I started my car flushed the system out and the temp is c* converted it to f* and its saying its really efin hot 200+ but I noticed that the rad and hoses arnt even close to that so is anyone having the same issue
im thinking the heat from the motor threw the water neck is throwing the temp off

my average temp on my sr20 was around 75*c with the power fc

your in Canada....and I have a ka dohc temp sender if that matters?

ambient temp here in vegas is 110f

Should be 165-170 thermostat should open then. May have a air bubble. Over 210ish you may pop a head gasket. I see this alot when someone gets a "flush" done somewheres and they leave the heater switched to cold.

Did you bleed it properly? Raise the front end as high as you can, take the rad cap off, make sure its topped off, run the car, then turn your heat on full blast, and massage the upper radiator hose. You should see bubbles coming out if you still have air in the system. Once you feel the upper radiator hose getting hot, keep massaging it. Put the cap back on and feel the bottom radiator hose. Check and see if its getting hot. If it doesnt get hot, thermo could be stuck shut.
