SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(RELIST due to the 2 bump limit - lower price)

For Sale: 1996 Nissan 240sx which I have been building over the last year. It is a full conversion, turning a 240 into a 350z (minus the chassis). The car is registered until September next year and I have a clean title in hand. I previously had this posted and it was red, but since then I have painted black and vinyl'd it white. The paint and vinyl aren't perfect but its a whole lot better than it was. Please PM me or respond to the thread with any questions on the build. The car is now $9999 obo and there is a little wiggle room in the price so shoot me an offer but no super low ball offers please. Most everything in this car is very high quality and despite some minor cosmetic issues, the car runs awesome and there is well over 15k in parts alone (see list below). This car is meant to be a daily driver and a weekend track car. PM me or call/txt at 951-663-125two if interested, serious offers only.

The bads:
- fenders, doors, and rear bumper have some dents and the dash molding (fiberglass work) isn't perfect but its ok
- wheels are g35 beaters, still 18in but a little beat up, one is scratched but still true (newly painted as well)

The rest is all good. Here is a list of what is in the car:

VERY clean and excellent work. I just feel like this will be a very tough sell though. It will take the right buyer to pay for a 10k 17 year old chassy with a V6 not V8. Awesome work though, if I sell my car and/or truck soon I'll for sure hit you up.

Totally agree, it takes the right buyer. First off, thanks for all the kind words on the build. The key isn't so much realizing that its not a v8, but a v6 with only 40 less hp than a stock ls1 (cause of the tune and intake and exhaust) and street legal in CA. That's tough to do here. And all of the upgrades. Most 17 year old chassis aren't running around with all new everything (high end shocks with less than 500 miles, brakes with less than 500 miles, and a 81k engine with new head gaskets to name a few)

You would be hard pressed to find an nice 81k 05 350z for 10k stock, let alone with any upgrades. Now, I know this isn't a 350z, its a hybrid, and that's why I list it here. That's also why I have listed it a few times and haven't dropped the price much. And I know its not perfect, but its worth every bit of 10k if you look up what most legit swaps are selling for. I could part it out and get 10k. But it's not worth it to me, I want the next owner to appreciate it as I do, a bad-ass 240. Hope to hear back from ya :)

Oh hell ya, I'm not bashing your hp or parts at all. Believe me, if i had 10k in hand, this wouldn't be sitting in your driveway anymore hahaha. I saw an S14 VQ swap sell for 8 g's with no where NEAR the work and parts you have in yours. I will vow for you anyday when I say this is a HELL of a deal, I unfortunately am just a little pissed because I don't have the money to buy this from you and that means someone else has the chance too lol. But like I said, amazing work/money/time done to this. I've never seen a 350z swap this clean before. I hope to God you still have this in a few weeks lol

Pretty much a whole 350z in the 240 chasis including wiring harness, cats, evap, all of that. The only things that dont fit as is are the cats which you clock(turn) (which is legal as long as you dont move them from the original postion). Other than that the BCM, IPDM, ECM, wires, etc all from a 350z. Hence the 350z gauge cluster. Any aftermarket parts like the cold air intake have to be CARB legal and have a CARB E.O. number. Then you hook up a meter and make sure all systems are green (its the different emissions systems that the smog shop uses to test the car. you get them all to pass and go green with a "drive cycle". As long as all systems are hooked up and functioning like the evap and such) There can be no CEL as well.

During a normal smog test, you can be missing 2 systems not showing "ready" and still pass, but with an engine swap, they want to see them all green or its an auto fail at the ref. Then you take it to the ref, pay them 8 bucks for the smog fee, they inspect it and put a ref sticker under the hood or in the door jam and you are good. Its now smogged as a 350z. I havent taken this car to the ref because I am selling it and have a current smog and its registered till September so I havent had a need to yet. But all systems are green and when the registration comes up and I need a smog, thats where I will take it if I havent sold it yet.

Either way, she is ready to go, and I went through a ton of work to make sure its legal in CA.

As for those who are concerned about the price, I don't see any offers lol. You all can read my previous post about the parts in the car and such, I never expect to get out what I put in, but I wont accept lowball offers either. Make a reasonable offer, you might be suprised.

Thanks for the interest!

I plan to. That's what I built it for. Just didn't want to spend the time to do so since I was already selling it. But since I still have it and folks seem to be hung up on the paint, I probably will soon as well as get it re-sprayed.

Also, IRAX, sent you a pm.
