Before I write anything on this thread.. I know that this is really stupid, and I know I messed up. Please don't flame me. I'm just looking for some advice.

Ok, so basically I'm in the middle of doing my 5 speed swap. My e-brake has never worked.

I have an s13 with a s14 brake and hub swap all around. The previous owner cut the ends off the e brake cables (I have no idea why) so in order to do my 5 speed swap, I wanted to go ahead and replace my parking brake for obvious reasons.

Here's the stupid part. I know that on the bracket that joins all the cables, you can just slide out the ones that go to the rear wheels and replace them with new ones. Well, my buddy and I didn't know that earlier. We cut the cable going to the e brake handle at the bracket. Now, we have everything in place and the cables are ran, but the first cable is way too tight and won't go anywhere to tighten the rear cables. How do I replace this?
