update: picked up my 350z today, so this one has to go for sure now. Price reduced to $5000 with everything including the 5 speed parts i have. I can also deliver it myself to your driveway anywhere in SOCAL.
So i bought myself a sick 350z:rawk: and I have a coupe project that is just begging to get finished:Ownedd:. Meanwhile i got this S14 that I basically have no more time for:cry:. So im just trying to sell it to finish up my project and tinker with the Z:angel:
So now I got to sell my recently finished daily to get some back support for this project. So here are the details on one of the cleanest 240sx I have ever owned.
1995 240sx base model
Clean Title, in hand
Just smogged a month ago, passed with flying colors
273,xxx miles on chassis
10x,xxx miles on 98 engine
Exterior:
Navan front bumper with fully functional lights
Headlight lenses replaced with clear ones, looks fukn amazing
Fresh 2 month old paint, original factory code, still gotta buff it, friend that works at a custom shop will get it done for me before the sale.
New weather stripping on all windows
Interior:
As stock and clean as it can get, besides radio of course.
Seats mint
Dash mint
Panels mint
carpet mint
mats mint
well you get the point
Im changing the gauge cluster tomorrow with an se one with led lights
Engine:
98 engine, Dont have proof, thats what the previous owner told me, and after doing a compression test(185-190 psi), i have no doubt its a 98.
Engine was never modified, kept stock, no bs intake or headers. Maximum reliability.
Purrs like a happy kitten, no ticking or humming, no BS
Automatic, sadly, but at least you know the engine wasn't beat.
Will include a 5-speed transmission and ecu off an s14 with the car. Was planning to convert it myself, but stop spending money on this to focus on the project.
Wheels and suspension:
GramLights 57D 17x9 +12 Championship white
Spanking new tires, less than 100 miles on them
Tien Flex coilovers off an s15. Pretty clean, no damage, not blown, ride smooth. Has dampening motors installed already, just need to buy edfc controller if you desire, not necessary.
Fresh 5-lug swap, new hubs, pads, and rotors.
Just did a full tune up before smoging it, so dont need one for a while.
Always filled up with chevron/shell 91octane.
Cons:
automatic antenna is stuck down, wont come up. I dont mind i use ipod anyways.
speakers are original from factory and sound quality shows its age.
Car is sad because i only drive it on Saturday nights, and has less fans than it deserves, and now that I have a Z, the S14 will get close to no action.
Final word:
For me the car is a 9.8 out of 10. That .2 is because its auto, but like i said i will include a tranny and ecu to get you on your way to a 5-speed. I was gonna do it myself, but if i did i was only gonna use oem and nismo components, and that's money. Money that i wanna use for my drift project.
