I really need help, I bought aftermarket headlights for my '97 Kouki but the pair they sent are JDM spec, wiring and all. Can anyone help me figure out how to wire the JDM 4-pin to the USDM wiring??

Follow the wires, two will be going to your low beam and other two going to your high beams. Match them up with you headlight wires.

So i just cut at the pins and strip, and twist em together? they'll operate the same (off, low beam, high beam)?

Is this a serious question? Do we have to put you on the list of Zilvia members who shouldnt be modding cars? :picardfp:

Well I was hoping there would be some kind of converter or adapter I didn't know about so I wouldn't have to do that, cuz I'm gonna want to switch back to oem later on and it rather not have to strip the new wires to. Guess I'll just hang on to the old one and reattach em if I ever need to

I'm also surprised that it's just that simple

Or you can get a male and female connecter that plugs into each other, de-pin the old ones and shazam clean and easy to convert back to..

That's a pretty good idea, I think I'll do that then and solder the new wires so they stay connected. Thanks for the help guys!
