Can anyone please help! My starter is just clicking rapidly. I have charged the battery, tried jumping it from a running car, checked grounds, and added another ground from starter to chassis. Engine spins by hand, fuel pump primes, etc. S13 Blacktop SR in a 1991 240sx.
Here is a short video, please take a look!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sounds like your battery is dead. Try swapping it with another known good battery. If the starter died it would just click once and not turn over. If it still does it with a good battery its probably the starter relay.

After you check the relay if it still does it make extra sure none of the bolts loosened up holding the starter to the tranny case. Also moderately tab the side of the starter with a rubber mallet or lightly tap it a few times with a hammers...sometimes it get's jammed against the flywheel...sometimes when the gear is wearing out on it. But this should get you going. gl

Had that problem with my 2nd 240. Either a fried battery or your starter is done. Good Luck

Ok thanks for all of the help guys! Looks like I need a new starter, which brings up another question. Can I rebuild my SR starter with parts from my working KADE starter? Thanks again guys I really appreciate the help!

Never mind, I just got back from getting the starter tested, it passed a few times with flying colors. Anything else to check? Thanks guys.

Check grounds/connections. If not its forsure theStarter relay.... or sometimes called at auto part stores 'clutch interlock switch'
Its a little blue box that causes 90% of starting issues on 240s. If they cant find it under that name sesrch around google for the actual part number (this happened to me and they claim the part didnt exist untill I found the part number online) like under $15 from vatozone. Go do it
