So I might just buy this 240 but I wanna know if im coming up on it or not. I'm new to nismo and need advice. I know the basics. So its a s13 with a sr swap and a gt30 turbo. He's was selling it for 3.5k and I dropped him to 3k. All my friends say to get it but I feel like it sketchy since its a sr for so cheap. The chassis has 176k miles and the motor has around 150k according to him. He also is adding a extra set of rims. It has a fender bender but no frame damage. Any help appreciated

Buy a stock car.
You don't know enough to own and maintain that car. Stock is better for you. Just find something clean with the least mods or better yet none.
Trust me, plenty of people will tell you the same. You also might get a lot of heat for this thread.

Is this gonna be ur daily driver? if so then dont buy it, 150k on the motor means that it will be needing maintanance if the guy hadnt done anything already. Not to mention on a boost motor, with a big gt30 turbo.. Id say its on its last leg and hes trying to unload it

Take it to the shop, pay $50 to test the engine. If it's ok then pay that $3000 and celebrate

See that's what I was thinking about the motor but I wasn't too sure. And yes it would be my daily for about 4 months.

You know about cali emissions laws right?
My guess is it won't pass!
Have the money in hand and have the owner take you to a shop to have the car tested for whatever you care about.
On your way to and from said shop, drive the car like you would like to drive. Don't be too easy, in other words if it makes to and fro make your decision or renegotiate.
Miles on these cars don't mean anything!

I was offered $5k at one point for my stock virgin RPS13 daily. Had to put an alarm on because people be handing and checking it out too much :madfawk:
Now that its my track car instead, haha...I still wouldn't trade it. I tried lookng for another S13 and even S14 as a "daily," I had much harder time here in So.Cal to find one without a "swap," "frame damage," or jacked up suspensed due to Godspeed/Megan/Ksport/:bash:
I bought used engines twice...NEVER AGAIN >_<
