To make a long story short I completely screwed my car up. It drives but I took it to a body shop and damage repaire is going to cost me well over $4500. I am not happy and kinda depressed. When it first happend i kinda was like shit look at my car, oh well... but now its really sunk in and i am really sad. I really can say that i loved and appretiated that car. The car was bought at 4000 and damage is well over 4500 so my insurance company is most likely going to give me blue book value which is between 5-6000, and salvage the car. I think i will buy it back at salvage cost and repair it cause the engine still runs and it still drives. I am going to have to call in alot of favors to get my car running again. Anyways the way it happend was that i was behind a mini van about 20 yards back doing between 30 to 35 i think. well she slammes her brakes right when i was looking in my rear view mirror. well anyways i catch her brake lights in the coner of my eye. Well i step on the brakes hard and then reliese that i am sliding when i try to turn out of the way. So i was sliding and unable to turn, in other words screwed. I almost got by but my right side hit her bumper. Damage wise my car is totalled. the front right corner is wasted and the entire bumper has been pushed back 3 to 4 inchs. the right fender is bent and the hood has a lovely arch to it. The ladies mini van had no damage except that the bumper had de clipped its self. no chips no scratches nothing, just a bumper out of place. Anyways i am going to continue to cry like a little kid... i miss it...
i'll post pics when the pics are developed, oh and the reason she had to slam her brakes was because some kid in a old civic decides not to signal when the are going to make a sudden turn a parking lot. which leads me to believe she was following a little close to that civic. anyways i want to say that i wish you guys luck and that i will see you guys around... till next time people......
