View Full Version : S14 Manual Driveshaft for SR, Non-abs in an ABS?

I'm just doing a Sr swap into my S14, the engine is a Blacktop S13, and I'm also converting the car to manual at the same time. The worst prob I'm having is tracking down an ABS Driveshaft, (really just the front piece). I've been able to find only non-abs ones. Does anyone know if this will work with a little bit of work, and maybe worst case lose my ABS, or is it completely different? I don't know what the diff is between the two, but I'm guessing it's just a few extra wires or something. Might it be possible to use parts from my current auto driveshaft to make it work? I'd really like to know if anyone has any experience with this, or has an answer for me!

Thanks alot!
James

I dont have ABS... but either will "fit". I am uncertain about the abs issue, I would probably think logic dictates that you need the ABS shaft to keep.
