The connection from the wiper arms to motor could have popped off. So just pull motor out and investigate .

quick ghetto fix.. tie strings to it.. one goes in the driver window for the up motion, one goes in the pass window for the down motion. then you pull the strings when needed.. you could tie the strings to the steering wheel and when you need to use the wipers just start going all kinds of crazy back and forth fish tailing like a mother.
and ive seen alot of old guys use this method.. not tied to the wheel though.. i guess back in the day that was the way to fix your wipers.

Unscrew the cowl and check the rods. If your hands are to fat pop the wiper arms off.

Did you look at the little green box?
On the opposite side of the engine bay next to the clutch master cylinder between the firewall and the strut tower is a little green box. This is the relay for the wiper motor. If this is bad you will either have only fast speed or nothing depending what is wrong with it.

It could be something internal. The motor may be functioning properly but the attachment to the motor may be stripped, broken, or loose.
