Ugly Evo

I was on my way to work today when I caught a car painted yellow and black. At fisrt it looked liked a regular Evo but upon further inspection it turner out to be an ORDINARY yellow LANCER with a evo front end painted primer black!!! To complete this one of a kind mod, the DIY idoit also put on the evo wing that was also black. I understand and respect the fact that you should make your car the way you want, but fuckin' a :rl: , do it with some taste and sensebitlty in mind, please!!!!

if the guy put all the extra fixins that make an evo an evo i'd see no harm in that. actually, i see no harm in him using body panels from an evo. anytime you use a body panel or whatever from a sistercar i see as convenient modding.

with that said, calling a 240 coupe with SR transplant and front end conversion a silvia shouldn't be looked down upon for the fact that if it isn't a real silvia it'd be quite obvious once you saw the interior.

anybody here adopted? sure you aren't from their gene pool but they are mother and father none the less. the role they play is just as comendable as a birthparent. i guess my point is:

who the hell cares? call it what you like, dress it up the way you like, and/or worry what people think about you in the mean time. honestly... who cares about this crap?

S13 silvia front is one thing, calling it a silvia is another. a 240SX is not and will never be a silvia or skyline or 180SX no matter what you do to it. so many new 240 owners these days fail to realize that thinking the 240 is the top shit sports car these days, which it's not.
