Hey guys I have a question about my tuning I'm just leaning about this and I'm doing good at it. As of right now I have the car boosting 15psi and a/f is at 10.9-11.5 witch is where I want to be.
I just need to know once I fine tune the car and I have my tune set up how do I tweak the drivability? What I mean is when I'm drive to work and I'm not in boost in just chilling and driving how do I lean it up alittle so I'm not burning so much gas. Is that even possible or it is going to be set to run little rich cause of my tune being rich? Is there a way to tune it so when I'm driving to work it shows like low 14s in vacuum? I think right now its showing like 12.s and my gas is burn up quick.
Thanks all.

The safc allows for tuning high throttle amd low throttle by adjusting the set points. Open the data monitor on the safc and watch your throttle position when cruising. Also pay attention to throttle position when it starts to build boost. There will be a lean spot between the two. Set cruise under that lean spot (low throttle) and set your high throttle map above that lean spot. You set it up under settings. I think mine was 30% at low throttle and 55% at high throttle. Then you go back to the tuning menu and select low throttle then slide across the rpm menu and reduce the amount of correction at the rpm you want to reduce. I think I had mine around 15-1afr at cruise then dropped to 11 at tipin and rode out at 11.5

Quite simple actually.
1/ Bin that piece of crap
2/ buy some real tuning device. Cheapest would be a nistune but it is only a daughterboard on the standard ECU.
You cant do jack with a piggyback.

o really... I made 380whp with an stock rb20 a bolt on greddy 20g turbo dsm 450s and a safc2 ran perfect for 2 years and 50000 miles
Now I have a built to the hilt custom rb24 with massivly ported head and cams. A custom built to spec t67 turbo 725cc injectors custom manifold and all the baller parts plus a aem ecu and it makes 400.... Kinda makes it look like a huge waist of money.

Thanks this helps me a lot!!! Ill see what I can do about setting this all up on my next day off. Thank you very much!!!
There's 1 thing I just thought of. if I set it up this way wont the car run lean from a launch? Cause ill be use the 30% for cruseing and that will be the same 30% use on ur launch?

So far I put down 510whp with this useless safc on 112oct. It's about the tune man safc have a bad name cause people don't no how to use them and don't bother trying to learn and start breaking shit and blaming the safc.
I have had it on a few different cars and motors and I have yet to fire a motors.

it doesn't work that way. Because you will be over 50% when it starts making boost. The safc automatically curves it up as your throttle position increases
