Description: For sale is a s13 sr20det tomei fully built head that has had the deck machined, 5 angle valve job, port polished and combustion chambers cc'd. All work was performed by Heavy Throttle and I have the receipt to prove it. Valve train parts installed are Tomei Type B Dual Valve Springs, Tomei Retainers, Tomei Phosphor Bronze Valve Guides, Tomei Solid Lifters, Machined Oem Rocker Arms and Oem Valve Seals. This head was designed for turning high rpms. The engine it came from was parted because of the switch in power plants. This is a serious head for serious buyers only. With the solid lifter set up how often will the head have to be reshimmed? Every 10k? How rough of a ride would his be daily driven....just wondering.

Not positive on reshimming but I know you have a while till you need to reshim. As far as a daily, it all depends on the cam being used. Something really lopey wouldn't be ideal for daily driving. A 260-264 can setup would be manageable for a daily but then again I know people who have 280 cams and drive it daily. So it's all preference really.
