Right now I have an Exedy Stage 2 that is killed and since Im doing a Z33 transmission swap I want to upgrade my clutch now aswell. My car makes 380whp and I want a clutch thats overkill but I dont want to spend like 2K on a twin plate. Harshness/streetability dont matter, its a track car. I just want something that will last. Im leaning towards unsprung because I dont care about it being an on/off switch and that way I dont have to worry about springs wanting to jump ship. Any insight on either of these clutches would be helpful, thank you guys.

I had the unsprung for a daily, you get used to it. But traffic in frisko, stuck on hills fucking sucked.

Hahahaha even a stage 4 sprung sucks on these hills. I have gotten good at using the ebrake to avoid scratching that BMW that insists on being 2" off my bumper, yet not burn out my clutch at the same time. Granted that idiot has it coming but hopefully its a bus that rolls back on his hood.

LMFAO makes me think back to the unsprung ORC twin in the GT-R... Shit was MISERABLE in traffic/on hills but pure sex on Sunday nights ;)

what the fuck is wrong with you people? :fruit::hey:

I'd rather have a sprung drivable clutch that can support 500 ft-lbs torque.

I have a 250mm ACT 6 puck sprung and a ACT HD pressure plate drives like stock a bit harder but its awesome all around and it BITES the 300rwtq and NO slipage at all..

I'd only run a unsprung in a race car, not even twin disk clutch for that setup.
