I have access to apple's developer shit if anyone is interested in getting their UDID's registered for the IOS 7 beta.

BTW its pretty sweet I have it on my phone at the moment. If you have it have you figured out anything sweet yet?

Yeah a bunch of the improvements I already had with jailbreak but it is nice that its native finally. Not gonna lie I liked the clean look of the way android looks now a days and apple basically copied it.

I am just glad they did not do the live tiles thing like Windows 8 or WP8 like rumored because it would just be annoying to see Microsofts supposed failure toted as the next new best thing. With that said this looks pretty clean and I like it. Is chrome and maps included or are those some jailbroken addins?

No you can download chrome and maps right off the app store from before and it just reloaded all the apps I already had when I updated.

I just registered everyone that sent me a pm. BTW if you guys are interested in donating a dollar or two id appreciate it these developer accounts are expensive and I only have so many slots. Buy anyways im already getting used to the new setup. My only gripe is that all the new typography is sweet but none of the third party apps really flow with it since they have the old style still.

Ohh, I guess I have listened to a few to many Apple Fanatics, three friends have told me no google apps and its better that way. Then again they subscribe to the google spy ring theory so I should have known not to listen. It is for sure a step in the right direction for this new UI.

You actually don't need a developer id. Just the ios7 file.

Once you plug your phone in, download the file, hold shift left click "check for updates".

It should allow you to pick the ios7 file as your update you want to install on your phone, and it'll work.

Yeah ive been running it for a few days now and have only had like one little bug just like stuff not fitting on screen, nothing insane.

So far for bugs, the most annoying one is how a few of my apps die and switch to WAITING for a near indefinite amount of time.

So I have to delete them from itunes, then reinstall them. I'm sure it has to do with the app not being optimized to be staple for ios7.

Yeah it works pretty swell. No major complaints here. By Fall it'll look somewhat different and all of the devs will have updated their apps to be stable when using it.


actually it has a lot of bugs still. It drains the battery super fast. It will not let erase all apps. It will not let you close apps in the close app window. Bluetooth is real spotty as well. Its cool but unless I can't get this stuff corrected I will be going back to 6.0.3

Oh ya another thing Itunes is saying my phone can't be used in Itune's without 11.0.3 which I thought was on this computer. Apparently its not. LOL well we will see once its updated. I think the OP has to upload Beta 2 for us. It will probably fix a bunch of these bugs I commented on.

You can update your shit to beta 2 by just going to settings and general then software update. Also you can pretty much find the download files anywhere on the internet the only thing I really do is just register your UDID so you dont get locked out over time.

I just got the notification for Beta 2 a few minutes ago. It will most likely fix the bugs I encountered. Hopefully it will improve the battery life as the previous version was sucking down the battery. Also I was having having an app erase bug as in not being able to erase apps that were stalled in download update mode. So I could just reinstall them. Plus I was getting random call drops and system shutdown . Beside the bugs it have some cool features not earthing shattering though. I think we are going to see more stuff as its goes.

Beta 2 seems to be a lot more stable. The call dropping issue is gone. The apps that were stuck updating updated. Beta one the Bluetooth was not working. I will try out the bluetooth on Beta 2 in the morning. no more random closes either.

I highly enjoyed IOS 7, went ahead and downgraded back to IOS 6 for the time being. Looking forward to the end product. Only issues I found was instagram and some apps had issues working on beta 2. Other wise Im happy with what its looking like so far.

For me, beta 2 is MUCH less buggy. Battery life is still ok at best, but much better than on beta one. First thing i did was turn off 'app background refresh'.
I have a 5 if its anything to you guys.

I lost about the last two months recently, but I went back to my last iOS 6 back up and REinstalled iOS 7 and went straight to Beta 4. Very happy with the way it performs now.

ok time to resurrect this thread. This is happening in my area apparently IOS7 beta is locking the phone up.

Update: IoS7 beta is expiring but you will not tell you that until your phone is connected to your computer. You can do a factory restore and recover and your phone will load the latest ios7 but be sure you do have your data backed up. As it will wipe your data.

Because the last Beta did not let my phone upgrade. I was not alone in this quirk either. Quite a few people showed up at the Apple store with the same issue.
When Gold Master hit you were supposed to be able to plug your phone into Itunes and it would tell you Gold Master was out. That did not happen with my phone. All it did say was my Iphone was up to date on IOS 7. Plus the last Beta did not let my phone shut down. I had to do a hard reset and restore which wiped the phone to correct this whole issue. Luckily I had backed up my Data last month so after all of that and updating my Itunes I was able to reload my data.

I just figured I would put it out there in case anyone else had the problem as quite a few people were showing up with the problem.

Correct. To update from the beta to the release build your iTunes has to be up to date.

Once you update your iTunes, it will prompt you to update your phone.
