I have everything done but now i have to mate the tranny with the engine....but it still has about 2in more that it needs to go in and it just wont move!!!!! plz help!!!!!!! :confused::confused::facepalm:

Get some more hands on it. Put the tranny in neutral and spin the rear shaft a little bit while wiggling the tranny. Sometimes it's a real pita to get on. Did you lube up the input shaft for the tranny?

Do you have the proper clutch alignment tool? It sounds like the clutch may not be aligned. DO NOT force it, it can damage the clutch disc. You did replace the pilot bushing right???

Yea i did all of that i used the alignment tool amd changed the bushing....but it wint go in.

When I align clutches I push the alignment tool up a bit. The weight of the clutch disc causes it to slide down a tiny bit and makes installing the trans a PITA. That may be what you have going on. It definitely sounds like the clutch is out of alignment a small amount...

If you have 2 inches to go then the splines aren't lining up properly. The last inch or so is the pilot bushing. He didn't hit that part yet.
