Got a Turbonetics t3/t04e I had on my KA. Upgraded to a HX35. Bearings and seals are smoked. Caught it just as the compressor started to make contact with the housing. compressor wheels looks fine no damage. 4 bolt discharge on the turbine housing. Would need a rebuild kit and a balance. $100obo?

I used to work for Turbonetics for 8 years. Looks like the comp wheel made slight contact with the comp housing, probably usable still, but gotta check for any stress cracks. I would recommend whomever buys it send it to Turbonetics for a complete rebuild. They will inspect it thoroughly and rebuild to brand new spec, and VSR balance the CHRA at 80,000 rpm to ensure that it will last a long time. People that rebuild their own turbos don't realize how important this step is. A turbo will not last long at all without being VSR balanced, or at the very least, Group Balanced on a Heins balancer. Vibration kills turbos. Imagine driving your car 180 mph with unbalanced tires! Same thing.

Good luck with sale, TO4E is a great turbo.
