is this normal for the trunk?

I see a big ass gap there where the trunk meets the bumper.. is it like that or am I missing something that goes there?

Your not missing anything, it's just not closed fully. Try adjusting the hinges .

That looks closed to me based on the sheet metal lining up with the side. Looks like the taillight is sagging. I'd pull the rear carpet and look at the backside of that light. I'm guessing the car was in a fenderbender and that side has been repaired.

Hmm yea let me see if it was. And if it turns out it was in an accident, there's still no frame damage so im good lol

Looks like the support on the inside just needs to be bent back up and clips put back in to hold the bumper.

Still requires removal of the bumper though.
