So when I rev the engine it builds up then letting off the gas it dies down past 600rpms and sputters almost like its gonna die. Also sometimes when I come to a stop the whole engine just cuts off. Goes from like 2grand to 0 and is a bitch to start back up. IVAC has been cleaned and rpms at idle are a strong 900. Fuel pressure is at 36ish and 41ish on throttle and boost is 8 at high and vacuum is like 30.

check your ignition timing, you can loosen the bolts that hold the CAS in place and move it to adjust the ignition timing.

ignition should be at 20 degrees rite or 15 with a timing gun

Check 02 sensor..
that was my guess lol maybe a boost leak?

More like brake booster leak.
Check your vacuum lines, you have a leak somewhere. When you stop, your vacuum lines move a bit to the point where it my let off an opening.

boost leak / leaky BOV.

I vote for vac/boost leak and/or a leaking BOV as stated. Recirculate your BOV and you shouldn't have the issue anymore.

i'm assuming you are venting your BoV. i'm also assuming you're running a MAF which is before the BoV. Bov is shooting air out that has already been metered, so its dumping fuel into the engine causing it to run stupid rich for a second, thus stalling out. MAP conversion, recirculate BoV, or live with it. those are the choices really.
i picked up a redtop SR s13 about a month ago and had the same issues. at idle cover the BoV with your hand so no air is escaping. it should begin idling fine. i just recirculated mine (tial QR) and the car now runs like a dream.
if you don't have the setup i mentioned at the beginning, then yes it's most likely a vacc/boost leak. i see a lot of threads with this kind of issue, with everyone venting their BoV's. people rarely mention that it has to be recirc'd, that is the #1 issue for sure. easy test, like i said, just cover it with your hand. it should run fine.

Yup, most likely your BOV set up is causing it. Block the BOV outlet temporarily and drive it. If the problem goes away, you know it is BOV related. You can recirculate it like EccentricBro said, or you can try adjusting the BOV on the adjustment stud to tighten up the spring so it doesn't leak all the time. If that is NOT the problem, then you could also have a boost leak somewhere on your intercooler pipes/couplings, or your TPS is set improperly, or your temp sensor for the ECU is bad (located on the intake manifold, it's the larger of the two temp sensors, the smaller one is for the guage cluster).

Thx for the reply's. Havent had much time to work on the project but heres what I got. The swap is 5 years old so its been running this way for sometime. When I got the car it did have a boost leak and a vaccum leak that I fixed. The dying when coming to a stop isn't all the time. However when I rev the car the rev's up then drops down is.

This my setup.... Will a recurk'ed BOV help any. And how would you guys go about it. There is no hose hook up on my BOV.

Try moving the Mafs away from the turbo a little more. And maybe straighter. If that doesn't help recirculate the bov.

Ive recirculated the BOV and moved the MAF a little farther away. But now the car only max boosts at 5. Also notice when I slow down like a old ppl it doesn't die but when I slam on the brakes it just kuputs.

air's still gotta be leaking somewhere. check piping and hoses for boost leak. like i said, my experience with this was recirc the BoV and done. sounds like the engine is still throwing fuel in for air that is getting leaked out somewhere. a non-recirc BoV is basically a big vacuum leak. your car is acting exactly like mine was, i'd either have to pop the clutch everytime i stopped and it died, or had to restart it. with the low boost though, my bet is on a boost leak somewhere.

You've got a big vacuum leak somewhere for sure. Also check timing and base idle adjustment.
