View Full Version : Work vs edition replacement center caps...vs-xx caps incompatible?

Hey guys, having a bit of a dilemma. Wanting to get the black/gold VS center caps for my old school vs-editions. However, I ordered the 'big base' (pictured left) caps from Work and they are a good 1/4" too small.

What boggles me is that I've seen plenty of vs-editions with all the different style caps, including the white/silver, gold/black, and silver/black.

Am I just doinitwrong, or are the 'small base' versions slightly larger and will fit? Judging from the pic, they look like the same outer diameter :(

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

you cant just take a VS cap and think it will fit vsxx vskf etc

even 19" VSKF run diff caps from 18' VSKF

But yes. They're specific on which wheels they fit and do not fit. VSKF's are one of the picky wheels. I had a set and there was only one set on WORK's site you can pick from. It's black/silver if I recall correctly. I know a lot of wheels are like this as well so you may not have as many color choices as you'd like. Sucks but it happens.

you can use vs-mx center caps dude.. they work spot on

Some dude bought my vs editions and brought with him a vs-mx center cap and put it on and bingo! you need the big hex center screw center cap one.
