I think it's being thorough and showing the value of the car in comparison to the asking price. Your opinion is useless here, btw. Thanks..
Would the car make the drive back to Cali? Seriously thinking about it
With no problems whatsoever. I have put 5k miles on it with zero troubles. It runs great and gets awesome out of boost gas mileage.
Where's the car located?
Alabama.

have you seen this guy's other posts? he's a fuckin douchecake.
that aside, i wouldn't mind buying the car. some decent money dumped into the engine and turbo setup. definitely lacking in the aesthetics department. would look tons better with coils and simple 4lug wheels.

^^^^ And sir this car is what you call a sleeper.
This car for the price is a steal seeing as the engine alone is as much as the asking price. Yea the car looks stock but that is easily fixable with about $1-2k worth in suspension parts, and some nice wheels.

I like how the OP didnt BS or lie about prices. Good luck with sale. for future reference your safety wire on the first bolt starting is kind of neutral. Start by facing the wire opposite direction and a the end flick your wrist, it'll give a tighter cleaner look.

Also, glad you made your way over to the SR20-Forum (The Dash). Not too keen on making trade offers, but I have a completely worked B14 if you were interested with some cash on top.
PM if interested.

Safety wire has been redone. A friend did that in the picture. I safety wire choppers and planes all day long. Thanks for the tip though!

I like the dash. It's a more mature group of people over there. I stay here as well due to good, knowledgable friends I have made.
Glad to see you're back. If it ever comes to a partout let me know, I'm interested in the longblock.
^ One of the knowledgable friends I'm talking about. Hobbs, a part out is a huge possibility.
People don't seem to realize I give zero fucks about this cars looks. It was built for consistent 10 second passes. The longblock is built by a very well known IHRA champion. I will keep in contact with you.

Lot's of good parts for a good price. The title of the thread is a little deceiving as this is not a 10 second car but a high HP car instead. GLWS

How so? Because slicks are not included?
There have been 2871 powered cars on this forum running high tens on factory suspension with bias ply slicks.
I know pretty darn close to what the car will run. It's not rocket science.

You probably know more then me and I am not looking to bust balls or anything I just think you still need tune, tranny, clutch, suspension, wheels, and head work to run 10s. In a stick shift car it takes a little more work the just making HP and go. I know in my own personal adventure I was grenading SR and Z32 trannys like it was going out of style and that was at 400 and 500 whp. If I recall correctly the OS Giken single plate is only rated to 400 so that baby will be slipping mid track after a hard launch.

Your a little off bud. This car will EASILY bust tens. It ran an 8.1 1/8th on street tires at 8 psi on factory fuel.
The clutch is fine and the best suspension for drag is factory struts, period. They transfer the weight very well. Clutches are rated by torque by the way..
Wheels???
Knowing how to row gears plays a large roll in keeping the trans intact. I have friends pushing 600+ through z32s so that tells me you had driver errors or beat transmissions if you were breaking them.
I've been going down the 1320 for a very long time. I know my cars very well.

For anyone who doesn't have intentions of buying the car, keep opinions to yourself. I don't have to explain or argue with anyone. If you have cash feel free to post or message.
I build my cars. I drive my cars. I race my cars and I know my cars.
The general opinion of Zilvia fanboys is not needed here. Thanks!

Fuck you. Your car is amazing and if I wanna share my opinion, I will.
Haha seriously though. I scrolled through your whole thread and read everything but the price. (I always overlook the price for some reason) When I seen the price, my jaw legit dropped. An amazing deal and I would love to drive all the way from Chicago to you. Sadly, I started my job too late and I am short of funds.
In short, amazing car and great price. Should sell fast.

The build looks outstanding and the car is sleeper status to the max.
Question: Why did you go HMIC with the factory bumper? It seems a little contradictory when the front bumper covers pretty much the whole flow.
Other than that, congrats on the sale!

I haven't logged on here in forever... Just decided to drop in tonight.
I actually planned on using sheet metal foils to direct the air over it. I bought the HMIC before I really knew what I was doing and I never changed it for a front mount.
New owner is loving it. He has it turned up around 16psi and doesn't intend to push it much more unfortunately as it's built for so much more. But he is happy so I'm happy it went to a good home. Has some coilovers and an exhaust system on it and I think he is focusing on body work and paint next.
I miss this shit everyday. No more studying turbo setups and engine builds for the time being, but I'll be back soon.
I'll have to drop in and let Zilvia see what I build next.

Sick build. I love the use of AN fittings. So sexy!
Whoever gets this, swap that intake out to a full 4" if you can.
That little pipe is very restrictive for a turbo that size.

It is SOLD to a very cool dude in Chicago who has already given it some love and turned the boost up.
I'm the proud owner of a new crawler built Wrangler.
