Then u can make it by hand :)

Left my s14 keys at my friends house once (driving a diff car) dissapered into a seceret couch cushion pocket like thing and vanished for about 4 months.

Went out to nissan of corona and they said they could only copy it, not cut me a new one, however your area may be different.

I had to contatct pop-a-lock and pay 100 to have one made from my trunk lock (its the same for me) They threw in an extra key for free, probably cause the keys were peices of shit, one snapped in half in my pocket. Im glad mine turned up

Is your friends car in impound by chance? If not, and he has family or something where the cars located maybe they can help you get in it/call a locksmith.

If the jail allows visitation maybe you can meet up with him and he can request his keys to be turned over to you from his personal property so you can get your keys.. most jails put all that shit you have on you when your caught up in a bag for when you get out.

all locks match as far as i remember i never used key for hatch but doors are from same car as front clip so i could keep rhd electronic windows without swaping out windows and door panels

As a locksmith,
Don't let them charge you more then 100$
Matter of fact, if you're handy with tools and can take the ignition apart
I can cut you the key and mail it to you

If you had a front clip then prob the vin that's on the registration isn't the same from the clip.
Becoming a issue for the basic locksmith since they can't call and get a key code.

I had a set of keys made for my S13 about 3 years ago. Went to a good lock smith with the Nissan Key number (it's in the glove box) and they were able to copy it. It's worth noting that they asked for my registration and/or title when I went to get the key copied, just to show that I did in fact own the car (or at least a nissan, really)...

Since you've got an RHD swapped car, you might not be able to go this route. If the key number in the glovebox matches the dash and the ignition, then you shouldn't have a problem... If it doesn't you can do one of a few different things:

-Remove the key cylinder from the actual ignition and have the locks made from that.

-Replace the ignition entirely and use those keys.

-Find a locksmith that isn't concerned with who owns the car to make a key for you - usually they'll come out and make the key on site.

Also, depending on the exact situation with the car, RHD may or may not matter. Some dudes who swap, will use their OE ignition to keep the key the same as the door. Other dudes don't swap the ignition, so you may have a different ignition key than the door key. Or you get the guys that swap the door handles and ignition from the RHD donor, at which point everything matches - but doesn't match the numbers that the car came with. It's kind of a weird situation.... But - in the case that the door key doesn't match the ignition, but you have a door key that works, you may be able to get the ignition rekeyed to work with those. Or, if all else fails, you can pull the ignition switch out of the locking cylinder and start the car with any object that fits. You'll still need a method of getting around the steering lock - but that's up to you.
