Last month I joined the idiot club and crashed my 240SX. I crashed by entering a corner too hot and smacked into the curb and a yield sign causing the sign to slam onto the roof.
The primary goal is obviously to repair the car to working ord and additionally to rebuild the motor and swap the transmission to a 5 speed. My plan beyond that would be a Silvia front end since now the front panels aren't mint anyways.
Night of the accident:

Haven't had much time to do anything with this build unfortunately. I had a chance to take off the front fender and get a good look underneath.
the body split at some of the seems in the fender. This is good, as I would it rather break here than bend in other areas. Part of the body got pretty mangled from the wheel getting pushed into it though. Only the tension rod broke at the bolt and the control arm bent from the collision. So I will have to replace those first of all before I can put it back down on the ground to check the measurements on the frame.
The inner fender damage:

Started to remove the front windshield:

Replacement tension rod and a set of used KYB struts with Megan lowering springs. Got all these for $120. Struts were stock before so I figured I might as well since the seller had them for cheap:

This is not a build thread.
Buy a new shell, swap your shit over, and call it a day.

You didn't build a car. All you did was crash.

Someone hit me when I was parked a few weeks ago, so I can start a build thread to right?? A new shell in decent condition will be cheaper then trying to fix that and a lot less of a headache. I just saw a good hatch shell let go for next to nothing
