Hello Zilvia,

I wasn't sure exactly where to post this thread, so decided to post it somewhere where it will get a lot of views. I am purchasing my first 240sx hatch very soon (next month). I have my eye on this beautiful 240sx, and

MY QUESTION: Do you think it is worth buying a 1991 Nissan 240sx se hatch (5spd) that;

-Is from the south
-has 250k miles
-is ONE owner
-has been taken care of
-has everything replaced over the past 22 years that has had to be replaced
-has never been abused, raced, or drifted
-no accidents/damage/rust
-completely stock, no modifications
-owner is in his 40s

How much longer do you guys think the engine will last? and overall (prolly stupid question) is it worth it with 250k miles on it?

Any answers/opinions will be appreciated, thanks guys!! :bowdown:

how much is he asking? do you have pictures of the car? does the man have receipts of that said work on the car/maintenance? if a motor is taken care of correctly it can basically go forever... there are tons of 80's cars hitting the 600,000 mile mark and have no mechanical issues.

he is asking $3,400 (was originally asking higher, but was able to bring it down quite a bit).. and yes tons of pictures of the car, this thing looks like its in immaculate condition

haha, I will try not to.. and when I replace the engine, what about the chassis? does it matter how many miles the chassis have, can they go forever ? seems like they can

If you plan on drifting as your forum name implies, I'd recommend buying a neglected chassis because you're going to crash sooner or later.
