thats odd, why only use half the hardware to re assemble? are these safe to drive on? who built these? I'm interested but the bolts are there for a reason. 2 piece wheels are different, I cant comprehend a three piece wheel with only half the hardware.

very weird^
also the bolts usually go through the face of the vs-xx first, these ones don't

Man, can't really customize a set of VSXX more than this. First, stepped lip. Second, sandwiched. Third, 18 bolts. And fourth, pretty gangster specs.
I just wish I could fit them.

It looks alot cleaner thats why. I bought them from Japan not sure who built them. Seen this type of wheel build all the time on cars though.

I usually only see this on wheels that are two piece welded with decorative hardware. The harswar. Adds structure to the wheel. Half the hardware gone doesn't seem safe to me. They're were built that way for a reason, even on some 2 piece via wheels the re machine the faces tto accept corresponding hardware. Imo, these are show wheels and who wheels only, I wouldn't drive them daily.

Well thanks for your input but I and many people I know have driven on wheels built like this its nothing crazy. If you dont feel safe then dont buy them. Thanks.

Post up pics of the back of the wheel?
The wheels are safe to use assuming they have been properly bolted together and the gaps were silicone sealed.

These are so nice, reverse mount with 1/2 the bolts make this already classic wheel fresh and unique!

My GTCs had about 18 bolts (Allen bolts), should be safe!

Don't think BBS LM's use much more than that many bolts either.
that said, are the air valves designed to be in the rear 1/2 of the barrel, or the front 1/2?
