i am 6 foot 1 looking for an aftermarket reclining seat/rail combo that will fit my s13 240 hatchback without having my head jammed up against the roof. i have looked at the corbeau cr1 and the sparco r100 but cannot find someone my height definitively say this combo works. all my seats/rails are stock and the cat hump is still there. if someone could please throw me a lifeline and help me out i would really appreciate it
thank you

You need sidemount seats and very low sidemounts seat rails. Buddyclub make some if you dont want to spend money on bride ones. I'd say any seat that feature sidemounts would be ok, but beware, the S13 is not very large.
I have sparco corsa seats, small sized (not reclining), they fit well.
Not sure you will easily find reclining that fits though.

I'm 6'7 and Bride low max MO rails are the best by far or get a custom one fabed up.
Side mount seat would work as well since your not that tall but for me bucket seats don't work cause I need them to recline to fit in the car.
I barely make it but it's comfortable... tall people problems... shrug...

you could always cut the hump out from under your seat and fab your own bracket in.... it dropped my seat 4"...... im 6'4" and the top of my shoulder sits at the top of the door. i have clearance with a helmet and cage no problem...... (im also using a fixed back side mount bucket seat)

yea from what im seeing on this and on other forums your right cutting out the cat hump and getting a new bracket fabbed is my best/only option cuz i am still pretty set on a reclining seat since this is my daily driver ive heard the spacro r505 with bride mo work pretty good for someone my size either that or i have to pony up the money for bride gias with the low max rails

I tolf you to get the buddyclub seat rails ... i got them, you can hardly go lower, and they are worth maybe half the money bride ask for theirs.

It wont work. You cant use a bottom mount seat, period. Remove your seat and check for yourself how it is built. the rails are built into the seats, and the seats go around / under them. You cant do that with an adaptable seat.
Even with side mount you will have a hard time getting it as low as oem. Been there, done that.

No, i am saying the only seats you can fit at oem height are side mounted, even if you do custom rail mounts. Maybe you could get oem or lower height by using fixed basemount seats, but rails are awesome, really.
You may be able to find reclining side mounted seats, but most of the time side mount = bucket seat.
I cant give you brands or names of reclining side mounted seats as i never considered getting some. What i can tell you is no amount of work will get you base mounted seats with rails at oem or lower height. You either need to go fixed seats (it sucks) or side mounted. When side mounted, the seats fit between the rails, and can go as low as the floor of the car, which nearly gives oem height.
