562 S-Chassis Meet

What's up fellow Zilvians!

Meets are biweekly on SUNDAYS: So following this schedule
December 7 & 21
January 4 & 18
February 1 & 15
March 1, 15 & 29

PLEASE NO PEELING OUT OF THE PARKING LOT/BURNOUTS/REVVING since there is a residential area across the street.

Location is slammed friendly. It has bumps, but my car was able to get over them with out any issues or scarping. We can take the lower or upper floor depending on the weather. The red lines are the entrances from Whittier blvd and Painter Ave. There is also an entrance on Laurel AVE which would be easier to use and avoid the bumps.

It is next to a residential area, so please refrain from revving, burnouts, and other immature behavior.[/B]
I made this post to invite you all to the first meet this Sunday(5/26) in Whittier. A couple other owners and I will be meeting up trying to start a S-Chassis meet at the intersection of Washington Blvd and Norwalk Blvd. We're planning to have it on a bi-weekly basis. Personally I've seen quite a few 240s and s30s around the area an thought we could have a meet to network, share knowledge and make friends.

Sound good. I was actually thinking about it and would it be possible to get an adjustable FPR for another engine (say an SR) and hook it up to your fuel rail? Maybe that would be easier than trying to source one off an s12?

Yes that is actually the recommended fix. But I have to cut out my old fpr and splice in a new one as my fuel rail is soldered together. Btw sad news but I couldn't come up with an extra twenty bucks for gas and fpr so I won't be able to make it this time around. I'm certain I will have her all ready to go by next round. Sorry about that guys but it's nearly 300 miles for me to get there and I have enough gas to make it there but not enough to completely make it home. i promise to be there next time. I'll budget better

Yes, there was a mob of trucks doing burnouts and being wreckless. You saw me and a couple other people drove out to LBTC to chill. Next meet will be at the same location and hope not to have the same problem as we did tonight.

Due to the issue with the trucks, let's try and move the meet to a new location. The new spot is further from the freeway (approx 1-2 miles from 605). It's a parking structure at "The Quad" in Whittier, behind Burlington Coat Factory.

I know its probably a long shot but I'll be in the US and LA on Sunday 20th April which appears not a meeting week (every 2nd Sunday right?).... Will be in NYC 13th so wrong side of the country (and Fiji on the 27th) :D

Bummer! but the good thing about So Cal(LA area) is that there is always something car related going on. Finding something shouldn't be too hard.

One suggestion is Cars and Coffee in Irvine, CA. This takes place on Saturday mornings, April 19th (be there around 5-6 am) and you will get so see a wide variety of cars, from exotics to classics to custom builds. It's quite a show for first time people.

Feel free to PM if you have any questions/concerns.



BTW, at night's meet, at the new location was a success. We had a decent turnout and location seemed spot on.
