So just wanted to know if you guys could help me out :naw:
I recently bought a Zenki & it seems my blow motor is out.
Climate control works and lights up but no go.
Now I've checked the fuses and relays by the driver kick panel and they seem ok. Is there anything I should look into before blaming the motor itself?:sadwavey:

Does it work on any fan speed at all?

Negative, the car you can say "loses power" or reacts when I turn the fan speed on but no go on the blower.

Try replacing the blower motor resistor. I got mine from rockauto.com for $15. My fan speed 2 did not work but 1,3,4 did if this is any help

If it worked on some but not all speeds I would have guess the blower resistor. If you have a spare I would try swapping it out anyways. I don't know if it would be a relay, since it sounds like your A/C compressor kicks on - "loss of power", Since it doesn't work at all, I would double check all fuses and make sure they are good.

Also DL a copy of the FSM somewhere, there should be a guide to do a diagnostic on the unit.

So I was in for a long drive and left the a/c on speed 4 without knowing and it turned on out of nowhere....then a couple minutes later it turned off. Any idea?

if you're having intermittent issues it would be most beneficial for you to just follow the fan blower diagnostic procedures.

In my s13 behind the glove box is a little white switch on the HVAC box assembly, You should have one also in that general area on your s14. I have to partial disemble the glove box to get it to swing all the way down to reveal the switch. You can try messing with that and replacing it. Also I have had to use 4 different climate control boxes because the contacts corroded or other issues. Even though the lights worked the fans didnt always.

Hope it helps

have you tried to put power to the blower motor to see if it even works.there should be two wires for the motor a blue/white and blue/red. you said it worked one time by accident then shut off. maybe a bad connector... unplug the connector and check the power to the motor.

So I took out the resistor and for some odd reason the blower still worked on speed 4 & 4 only. Now I'm switching the resistor anyways bc this one looked like poop.
On technical terms I get positive voltage and good negative from the connector leading to the blower but for some reason it just works when it wants to.

Any suggestion would help :/

strange it seems like the ac/heater units always have issues.. for instance.. my ac and heat only blow on the 4 setting 1,2,3 settings dont work for poo. 0.0

In your case it seems to be the resistor lol
It's like ~30$ at your local auto parts
