Decided to check here to see if anyone would want this thing as a whole car to save me the trouble of parting it out. Would consider trades and money on top for a very nice hatchback or kouki S14

-PPG Center Spool
-PPG JDM 1.1:1 Transfer Gear
-3in Steel Driveshaft

STi Brembos, Hawk Pads, New Rotors.
Stance GR+3 Coilovers, 3ways, RWD Specific,
RWD Front Conversion, Cut Spindles, Hubs, ARP Studs, Axle Delete Bolt
Speedwire 11 Circuit Panel and Board
Tilton Twin Clutch, needs rebuild
Vipec V88 Wired for DBW STi Motor
AIM Sports Dash, harness modified for Vipec
Seibon Hood Front Fenders and Trunk
Sparco Circuit Pro driver and Pro2000 Passenger
Advan RZ 17x9.5 Front 18x10 Rear.
The car runs and moves but needs a Rebuild for the Tilton a Tune, and the headlights/taillights/chassis wiring completed.
I'm seeing stockish STis go for around 18k, and I'm looking for 21000 with all eight of the Advans or 18500 if you toss whatever wheels you want on it when you pick it up.
Well aware this is a good deal for the car but a longshot none the less. Lemme know what you've got.

stock motor with a GT35r?
Had a 35R on the shelf, put the smallest housings I could on it, made 350 at 14lbs. Eventually was gonna build the motor and put the boots to it, but here we are.

The proper title would be "TX RWD Subaru WRX with STi swap"
A WRX with an EJ257 and 6spd =/= an STi. Even if most of the WRX components have been upgraded to STi or better it's still a WRX. The chassis doesn't have the STi reinforcements not to mention the thousand other little differences ...

Thats how much WRX there is in this car.
Literally every other stock part that somehow managed to make it on to this car is off of an STi, or is an STi part number. Not that it matters, because if you're buying this car to floss your STi Title you're gonna be real bent when you found out you have a racecar with like 20 STi parts on it.

I still wouldn't call it a "sti". The VIN is WRX, that is all the WRX that's in the car that makes it a WRX.
A SR5 Corolla is not a AE86 despite how many 86 parts you put on it.

Don't get butt hurt man, the car is great. As a former wrx/evo owner I've always been fascinated by RWD conversions in these cars. I've researched what it takes and you're done everything the best way possible to a tee.
That being said if I have a 68 Tempest with a full GTO conversion, would barrett-jackson say I have a 68 GTO or a 68 Tempest GTO clone?
I'm sure there would be zero performance difference if you started with an 04 WRX STi chassis but is incorrect to call the car an STi.

Fanboy-ness is off the heeeeeeezy up in here. SR5 VIN tag clearly says AE86 on it.

I've been digging the GD Subarus for drifting lately. Seems like MacPherson strut's lack of camber gain would be amazing for the rear. GLWS

damn you are annoying. I'm 100% sure the new owner would either know or be notified that it didnt start out as an STI. give it a rest or take it to PM. nobody here cares.
OP glws. I wish this was still awd as im in the market for another subaru as a track car for rallyx.

This car is being parted out. It'd be nice to see someone drive it all together, but its kinda not worth the hassle to sell to someone whos gonna hassle me about stuff like it not having a pink sti badge on the trunk or something.
so far the most notable trade offer has been for an AE86 with cash on my end. touche zilvia.
if anyone wants to talk parts, pm me, Seat, Wheels, and Turbo prolly gonna go on my new tinkertoy though.
PS, anyone wondering how these cars work for drifting, it felt great driving it, needs help in the steering angle department, but very controllable, very similar to a heavy, long 240SX.

yeah, zilvia isnt exactly the richest forum. plenty of people with plenty of money but they are usually focused on a certain car or just not interested. good luck with your part out.

This is fucking bad ass.
And All corollas are ae86 thats the chassis code.
Difference would be an SR5 to a GTS.
