I would, and yes you are crazy.
I guess that makes me crazy for driving 3 1/2 to and fro....just to take pictures of it and test driving it.......

if you know thats its a quality car, and its exactly what you want, then yes. for a mediocre, wrong-color, rusty car, no

Ive mapped and planned trips to florida and california, I would fly out there and then drive back to get a car..but they always seem to fall through right at the end...Hey I love nissans, whats a 2000 mile trip to me..a road trip just like the old days

I live in the Chicago area and it's slim pickings when it comes to S13 coupes. I might have found one though.
I'd do it to get what I really wanted. Lucky for me, my s14 was only about a 20minuet drive :p Just think of it this way, its an excuse to drive all day...just take some back roads on your way home so you don't get too board.

There is a huge lack of S14's in the Denver area. I hardley see them on the road. I imagine I'll have to settle for what I can get with such slim pickings.

i found my s14 about 5 blocks from my gf's house. it was the only one for sale at the time too. I looked in the paper and on the web yesterday, and i think there's 6 for sale ranging from 13500 to 26000

Really? There was like 8 S14s parked in a parking lot at Colorado Springs. Plus some S13s

do it...if it's exactly what you want. Personally, I'm in love with my s13 coupe....If I ever get the money, I'm thinking of driving it down to Heavythrottle, and having them do a complete silvia conversion....s13 headlights, and engine. I don' t know about you guys, but there's really not much I wouldn't do for my s13. I've had it over a year now...and I still get all fuzzy when I look and sit in it.

I'd do it.
Im doing it in about a month.
Driving from Sacramento to Denver..takes 19 hours if ya drive quick.
I would do it too. I was considering going to GA (I was living in Tampa FL) to get a 240 but I opened the paper and found the one I wanted right down the road. Ur not crazy though, I love my car and would have driven the 20 or so hour trip to get it.

That's not crazy, that's WEAK!!!!
When I got my first 240sx, an '89 fastback, I flew to Florida to pick it up. PLUS, this was before I knew of the 240sx greatness :-)

That's a hike - I only had to go a couple hundred miles. Not crazy though - that's just how the car game works. When I sold my Civic, I had a guy from MN ready to come to DC to get it (and that's a common car). I sold it locally and that guy wound up going to NY to get his hatch. Sometimes it's just what it takes

hey west i was just thinking...y'know, canada is closer to you than SoCal, right? find one in B.C. or something and get it there and drive it back. likely to be lower miles, will have a VLSD and what not, and with their weak economy, you might even save a little money.
does this sound practical?
