Who here is good with films (essay for films class)

ok, have to write this paper for films class, 7 pages, on a movie about it's "psychological efforts on the audience and techniques used in the film"

i have no idea what to write, but i have decided to write it on The Family Man (Nicholas Cage, Tea Leoni) Anybody can help with this? Just need some ideas, I have searched and searched and couldn't find much on it.

"psychological efforts on the audience and techniques used in the film"

I believe that means the emotional response you had during a scene, i.e., anger,sadness,happiness,.etc. Also the techiques of the camera such as "dutch angle' to create suspense, made by the director which were used during the scene that could of helped create the emotional response. For example when people cry during a movies. What is happening during the scene? What camera angles were used to make this scene have such and impact on the person/s.
