Get a pilot bushing puller tool from autozone and pull the auto one out and install the manual one.

Get one of these, if you can. Works SO good!

Lisle 55600 Clutch Pilot Bushing Remover : Amazon.com : Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-55600-Clutch-Bushing-Remover/dp/B0002KPZ08)

How about buy or download a Factory Service Manual? Even a Haynes manual will help you with this.

There are also a lot of tutorials in other websites if you take the time to use Google:
If you would do this you'd have some insight (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=240sx+manual+swap)

Stick a punch in there and pop it out; then pop the new one in. If it doesn't play nicely, get mean with it.

Yah, good luck with the puller - I had to drill & destroy the last 2 out of 3 I did...... those fuckers.

The tool I posted is just the thing everyone needs. The pullers suck.

1/4 inch drive 11mm socket put it on a 1/4 inch 3" extension backwards (as in socket flipped on extension) put wheel bearing grease in pilot bushing hole, fill in as much as possible, then put socket in hole and tap with a hammer. This will force bearing out, easy as pie.

THISSSSSS!!!! i have a custom milled block of aluminum (well, its a cylinder, not a block) for exactly this purpose.

I have always filled the hole with grease and use a clutch alignment tool to stick in there and hit it with a hammer. pushing it right out.

^^^This, but I didnt use a clutch alignment tool. I have an actual input shaft I use solely for taking out pilot bearings and as an alignment tool.

Yup, and if none of those methods work - drill the crap out of it to shatter it into pieces you can crush inward and remove.

The grease method only worked for me 1 time out of like 5 conversions.
