Regretfully, I must sell my 1980 Datsun 510 to prepare for a cross-country move. I'm moving to California, and I can't take it with me. It's a five-speed with cloth interior. It comes with the original California license plates, original owner's manual, and original Datsun factory service manual.
I purchased my 510 from the original owner's granddaughter in Morgan Hill, CA in February 2012. I flew out and drove it home. Since then, she's covered 16,000 miles. 30 states, and has seen both oceans. The only thing the car hasn't seen is snow: it's been stored over the winter and never, ever exposed to snow or salt. The car now has about 162,000 miles. It has no mechanical problems at all, and no rust. I have driven it cross-country, and would do so again without hesitation. It's got new front pads, rotors, new front struts, and new rear shocks. The car is literally perfect with the exception of a few tears in the driver's seat. It even passed California's strict emissions in February 2012. Even the original clock and AM radio are intact and working. I can say with confidence that this is the nicest 1977-1981 510 in the united states. Price is not negotiable, and I do not want any trades.
