Yesturday a fire alarm went off at one of my school buildings and it wasn't the typical bell or studdering noise (pause for .012 secs)....instead it was a loud high pitch ear piercing (sp?) sound that got worst the closer you got to it. I thought this would be sweet to have as a car alarm...annoy the hell of the potential theft and I would wire it so that it could not be tampered with.
Does anyone know of a car alarm that sounds off a high pitch, annoying as fcuk sound?
If not....any suggestions on other car alarms...I've done some searching and come up with Aladdin, Compstart and Clifford AvantGuard 4.....lo-jack is hella expensive.
TIA

heres a really good set up. cumpustar alarms are the shiznit.. turbo timer, remote start, 2 way pager like 2 mile range, it comes with 2 air hornes for when your car is violated, and the regular siren for when u lock and unlock the car door, so its real loud. then get the clutch lock, then u can get locking hood pins so they cant just break in and pop the hood to cut the battery. those...., a pit bull, and a garage is what keeps my car safe and me sleeping

hmm....I don't think I can get locking hood pins with a metal hood. But the Compustar system was what I was interested in. What is clutch lock?

For high pitched sounds use the DEI siren it used to be called the pain generator it is very small i have one in my mustang it can cause severe headaches and eventally nausia and vomiting the only problem being if you set off the alarm you are also exposed to this thing and trust me it sucks but if you want prevention stick one waaayy up under your dash and let it wail

i think the perfect alarm would be a 18" woofer. put a 8hz tone through at enough volume, it makes ya shit your pants, pretty fun. too bad most woofers dont reproduce below 20hz :( cept for acoustic 26" subs :D

i read about this dude who worked for rockford-fosgate or somehing back in the day, and he put 3 24's in a hearse, and he had a thingy that reproduced the bass an octave lower just for those subs. nuts

well the 26" subs im talkin bout are made by acoustic, theyve gone out of business, a shame cuz they make really nice speakers, btw, they are for professional sound reenforcement, not car audio, and they are driven by electric servo motors, not magnets, muahaha. they fuckin rock, we are gonna use them at my friends house party cuz his parents went outa town, and weve got access to a whole warehouse of sound equipment.
