I had this car up for sale a few times but never sold it because of major low ballers and I'm too picky because it took me along time to find this car. I went through 2 SC's before this one and this one is by far the best but now I have a baby on the way and the 2 door has got to go. Up for sale or trade is my 1997 Lexus SC400 black on black automatic transmission just hit 200k miles but runs very good. All gauge needles light up, no bleeding climate control, no cracked door panels, interior in good condition, everything works besides rear trunk shocks. No rust car is originally from So Cal. Paint on wing and rear 1/4 has some fade and tint is peeling (seems normal on all CA cars.) Clean title and carfax on hand. If you know SC's then you know the common problems with them and this car has none of them. Also the '97 black on blacks are highly sought after and rare and I avg 23mpg that's mix highway and city. Even comes with old school Lexus phone!!! Sure it's an auto and not 2jz but those are easier to find now then an authentic 97 black on black. Please do not compare this car to a crappy beat up SC that's worth $1000.

Clean carfax on hand here: http://www.t-netzone.net/documents/CARFAX97SC.pdf

Mods:
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
ESM 18x9 wheels 245/40R18 tires
12mm hub centric spacers up front with extended studs and 25mm hub centric adapters in rear
Borla axle back mufflers
Front pre '97 lip that was cut and extended.

Maintenance done:
Timing belt @ 140k
Rear shocks @140k
Oil changed every 3k miles
Spark Plugs @180k

$5500 or best offer.

PM or text me seven 6 three 350-6 eight 77. I have many more pics or can take pics of anything for any serious buyer.

97-99 SC's are definitely superior. Kind of like the 07+ 350z.

Most people don't understand that lol probably why you get lowballed.

I miss my Lexus and hope to have another soon. GLWS hope you get what you deserve for it. Beautiful car

not very sporty, but local and reliable as hell.

Thanks but I was never really a Legacy Wagon type of guy.

Raw pics of interior that need minor cleaning from storage.

Both door panels are good and leather not cracked.

The worst of the interior is probably the lower rear seat has a broken seat belt clip corner and scratch on seat.

Bump I need to sell this quick. All reasonable offers will be considered and I can removed wheels to lower price. I'll also trade for a GS or a similar valued 4 door.

Wow I can't believe no one wants a 97 black/black SC.

I'm a ClubLexus veteran, since 2005. Thanks for the heads up though I just posted the car in multiple forums.
