I was compression testing my motor yesterday and the adaptor got stuck in cyl one -_-
I tried loctiting the hose part to the adaptor but the actual fitting on the hose came off and got stuck to the adaptor. I've tried needle nose pliers but they just don't grip at all.

That happened to me on when I was doing my KaDE compression check, I used an easy out big enough to fit into the inside hole and was able to break it lose and pull out.

happens to me sometimes, just keep connecting and disconnecting the compression tester, get various angles on it and eventually it will come loose.

But if your compression tester is like any normal tester you should be able to get a XXmm socket on it..

I don't really want shavings to fall In the chamber

If you can find a piece of hose with large enough id to slide tightly over the fitting, but small enough od to fit in the hole...

Remove the compression tester hose from the cylinder. Take a flat head screwdriver and hammer it into the center of the fitting until it's pretty stuck. Twist it out and enjoy. This is usually a last resort, but it will work no matter what.

In the future use antiseize on the threads of the adapter and finger tighten it only. It doesn't even have to be snug.

I didnt have any shavings fall into the cylinder, the easy out just wedges into the inside hole.

Put some red loctite on the threads and screw it in. Leave it for a few hrs. and viola! Happened to me a few months ago.
