Power:
Car was tuned on a Dyno dynamics dyno at MA motorsports in Maryland this past weekend. The car makes good power, can make more if the wastegate is upgraded from a 2.25” exit to 3”


Right now the car peaks power at 5k, with this change, freeing up the exhaust it will peak even higher and begin to drop at 6500 due to the stock cams.

Comparing cars 'power' from dyno to dyno like trading baseball cards has always has seemed trivial to me.

Now to spare myself the argument and nit picking,

I understand that you fellows take your cars to NationalSpeed for tuning. The dyno jet is proven to put down 15-20% more than a Dyno Dynamics dyno.

What is relevant is what other cars are putting down on the very same dyno. Here is an indication, a properly running 350z will put down 215-220whp on this very dyno.

On this Dyno Dynamics with the current setup, the car pulled 275whp at 16psi.

If I were to put on the 3inch wastegate instead of the 2.25 I would be pulling around 300whp, right now the car just can't breath enough out of this setup to be reaching it's full power.

Although it does run smooth and it still has plenty of power, if the buyer wants more, swap the wastegate to 3" like I previously suggested.

Very nice car.
I don't think the stock cams are your problem with your power peak. I run stock cams and my peak power was @ 8200 RPM, although my peak TQ was around 6800

your turbo is just too small :P, or just up the boost to 30 :) jk
