low oil pressure light coming on need help

When im coming to a complete stop the oil pressue lights comes on for around 2 seconds then gos back off.My oil level is fine. Is my oil pump dieing on me? and is ot possible to use a ka24e pump on a ka24de engine.

your oil pump is probably bad. and no, the SOHC and DOHC pumps are not interchangeable. They are a completely different design. Get this fixed immediately. Cease driving the car. The light comes on when pressure is below ~5 psi. You *are* doing damage to your motor.

Yah i totaly agree with uiuc240. But also in a few cases, if you come to a stop and you idle drops WAY down, you rpm's arnt enough to turn the oil pump fast enough to provide good oil pressure. But if you idle is fine, like uiuc240 said, its porb. your oil pump.
