today in 3rd hour at school, the site of snow appeared outside the window. kinda sucks, I hate the cold weather. I'll live because I can't stop it. its' been snowing since, and that was about 3 hours ago, so maybe it'll snow a lot overnight!! no school, PLEASE! but yeah, fixing to go play some snow football. I just want to sleep in, and stay warm inside! who else has seen snow? I remind you that I'm in Oklahoma, so it doesn't hit us til about htis time of year!

Snowed here on Saturday night, the only night in the last two months I had to close at work. It also was the first time I lost control of my ass unintentionally, #### thing slid out 90 degrees. Glad I learned effective countersteering :-) This was all travelling down a rather long hill at 20MPH.
But yeah, RWD in the snow isn't fun, unless you want to bust up your car.

to clarify:
RWD is fun when you want it to be
i loose control in turns and rain sometimes its NOT fun

I've never lost control when I didn't want to before, just a matter of driving smoothly <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> Sharp turns or accells will overcome the standing friction moreso than steady pressure. For me, that time just happened to be on hardpacked snow/ice <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> Straight line, the road curve changed and my rear end went with it <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I'm glad I have a FWD car for this winter (Sentra, don't have 240 just yet)...but it's my first winter, so the FWD will be the easiest on me. I have enough confidence in my driving, that I can go through it without getting into a wreck, but that's not to say that I won't definately. my friend has more confidence in ME than herself, she wanted me to drive her home from school today, been driving for like a week more than me, and she wanted me to drive. so that makes me feel a little better about my driving!! hha, but man I hate snow!

I've got a perfect winter car. Thin (new) tires, long wheelbase, low horsepower, FWD/4WD, Wagon (room for all my boarding gear!) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

OMG, I was scared shitless driving in the snow and ice this week. I had new tires pu ton the front in April, but my rear tires barely have any tread. The snow came as such a shock, I didn't have the time to switch the front & rear tires, and my appointment to get new tires on my car was this next week. I could barely accelerate, I couldn't turn, I couldn't shift without losing traction. I was so scared, my left leg was trembling just trying to hold the clutch pedal in. We (me and my car) made it through it though. No bumps or curb-checks. Only a tad bit of hail damage from the previous week's nice hail storm. WELCOME TO OKLAHOMA--WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE FUKK THE WEATHER'S GONNA DO!!!!
Glad you made it through your first winter driving Zexel <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> At least you didn't have to drive last year w/ the 3 weeks straight of ice on the roads--luckily I had a 1992 Olds 88 w/ brand new tires on it to drive.

Well, ain't that about a bitch. Second nightime drive home in the snow this year. Good thing I got out early, if I was three hours later, datt'd be bad news.
