Hey guys, I'm new here. I have these headers on my single slammer " Product Name - OBX Racing Sports (http://www.obxracingsports.com/products.php?pk=1778) " And I'm trying to connect a catback to it "i'll add a picture of the catback" so it's not so loud. Only problem is, it doesnt line up correctly. I know this may sound like a dumb question but, am I going to have to buy a whole new exhaust? Thanks for your help.

Depending on how exactly they are lining up, you may have to take it to an exhaust shop and have them cut and re-weld the flanges.

Do you know around how much that would cost me? or would it be better to buy a new exhaust

Shouldn't be much, most shops should do it under $100 if you have everything.
Hell there are a few places that will do a job like that for $20. just make sure you have as much parts for the job as possible.

in California, I wouldn't pay more than $80, if you know the guy, its about $40-$60, this is when you should start getting familiar with muffler shops and then you bring them people after you come for your work, thats how I did it, now most of my welding needs are about $20 for my car, and about $40-$60 for friends I bring in(even some major stuff)

EVILRB beat me to it, pretty much same thing he said

Thanks guys! I'm gonna look for some exhaust shops around where I live. I also need help with deleting my EGR. If you have any experience with EGR deleting, let me know. I am running a single cam

You should use google.com to find out how to remove the EGR. I would imagine there are quite a few write ups on it. Don't be afraid to search, these cars are old, people have been there done that.

that exhaust doesn't look like it was made for the car
EGR is a really easy removal, you can either buy the 'squid' delete plate or do what i did and have the cast iron manifold thing brazed closed.

OBX is decent, i have a megan header on my car and i know for a fact it lines up shitty cause i've had two quality exhausts both hang really poorly at the rear, they sit crooked.

I got a delete plate off ebay, and the guy I picked up the catback from said it came off of a s13 hatch, it comes a little short the tip isn't poking out from under the bumper, its about 6-8 inches too short. I was thinking about getting a test pipe

That exhaust was made in an exhaust shop. Its not a true aftermarket exhaust per say. Depending on how much you are wanting to spend on this car, I would probably get a different exhaust. If you do not plan on running a cat you will need a test pipe. Just be cautious if you have emissions in your area.

My car doesn't go threw emissions. What exhaust do you recommend getting if this one doesn't work out? Not looking to spend over $350

im selling an exhaust, and am local lol
otherwise, just get whatever or have some shop make an exhaust again and just buy a muffler for the back

yeah, that exhaust was made for a stock header probably, which includes the cat. I don't think 6 inches is enough for a test pipe, since mine is ~12 inches and thats what most are.
