Haha, it's great to hear about the Johnny Ricer stuff again, haven't watched 'em in ages. Those three videos were made in summer 2002, IIRC, right here in Clemson, SC. The first one, with John talking to some dude and proclaiming "ricers don't know dick" at the end was impromptu. John just started bullshitting with the guy and, when he saw that the guy was too stupid to know better, ran with it. Robert just happened to have the camera running. The other two episodes were more or less scripted.

The Prelude belongs to Rob, former president of the Clemson University Sports Car Club. He's the skinny blond guy who gets in the car near the end of the ad-libbed one, and is currently running around in a first-gen Mazda RX-7 with a Ford 302. The Civic belongs to Dan, who bought/built it as a joke car to deflect attention from the rotating fleet of Mark III Supras he had. John himself has, over the years, owned a GMC Typhoon and several C4 Corvettes, including one with a nitrous-fed 383 and a 94 ZR-1.
