This problem just started happening a day ago. It's coming from the top end somewhere in the valve cover area. It's not a knock, more of a rattle and only when I rev my rpm's around 3000rpms. I've never had this problem ever with this engine. I just had a new tranny and clutch put in and that's about it for recent mods. Please help and if you have any input lmk! Thanks :naw:
A link to my video of it running and the noise it makes!

Timing belt tensioner? Search it on YouTube. Very common issue.
Does it go away when you press the clutch? If so then it may be the throw out bearing.

No it's coming directly from the engine, not clutch or tranny. I had that fixed but it's more of a clicking sound.

It is more than likely the infamous KA timing set rattle. It is probably worn out guides or a sticking tensioner. Do a google search for KA timing chain rattle and you will find all kinds of guides on what to look for.

Sounds like it could be early rod knock. Timing chain rattle usually happens at idle and doesn't really sound like what you hear in the video. If you want to be sure it's timing chain rattle then replace your tensioner and remove all the guides.

if all checks out timing guides/tensioner wise
look at the ps pulley.
mine was wobbling and it made simliar to rod knock sounds.
if you look at it running you should be able to see if its wobbling or not
I did not watch/listen to your video
just throwing out there
