Painted my wheels

I bought a set of 91-93 stock alloys for my base model and spray painted them what I thought was going to be bronze but turned out to be more of a gold color. Anyway, here's a picture:

The wheels were pretty beat up which is why the lips look like that but overall I don't think they look too bad. I just really wish the paint was darker and less.. bling. :p

I think that should be pretty helpful for anyone else who plans to do this.. next time I could definitly do a better job.

I'm doing Z brakes in the next week or two once I have the money.. after that I'll start working on suspension. With the steels on there it didn't look so bad but now it looks like a monster truck or something. :hsdance:

Everyone around here has painted their wheels black so I wanted to do something different. I've never seen a DSM with anything other than silver or chrome wheels but I guess that's a compliment because a TSi is a hell of a lot faster than my car. :)

Black wheels on dark cars don't look that great IMO.
