Just trying to gauge whether or not the lip and bumper would be easily fixable or should I just replace. As you can see in the pics they're not really bad but I'm not sure if it's worth fixing. If they are esaily repairable, could I do it myself and with what? Thanks for you help

Kragen or usually any autostore has plastic bumper repair, its like 20bucks or less. I bought a few lips with minor cracks that dont bother me since Ill be beating them up anyways, but that one looks pretty big. I say get that repair kit, and just put alot of it on the back side.

ok.. i work at a bodyshop so i know what im talkin about... if theres scrapes in the bumper dont worry its easy.. as long as its not tore apart.... just take it off and clean the bumper start sanding... the edges where its all bubblin and peeling... feather it out use like 320 grit to start out with.. then 500 wetsand.. u can paint on top of that cause your gonna have to use a sealer of some sort..... but if u seriously want me to get intricate and descrpitive with the how to PM me and ill tell u.. cause its gonna be a whole step by step process...and id rather have u do it right then.. have some dude tellin u to use a 1000 grit sand paper on a primer.. like the other time.. ... peace and let me know if u have scrapes cause its gonna be a different process then what i just told u...

Thanks for your replys guys...
I'm not trying to make my car show worthy by all means, but this is the nicest car I've ever owned :hsdance: and I'd like to fix the dents and cracks and stuff if I can. Plus, I'm gonna get the car painted sometime in the near future and would like to fix that stuff before then. Hyper Tek, I've seen the fiberglass repair kits before but not plastic so I'll have to go look again. If that doesn't work I guess I'll PM ya infinitexsound
If you say why fix it, why paint the car only get it chipped and messed up, why put a kit on only to crack or damage it? I'm sure the lip will get messed up agian once I lower it but that's ok.... My last project car's lip ripped off and flew into pieces on the highway. lol :blah:

i had greddy front lip (urathain), and i cracked it, broken in half.. it was 2 pieces... and i was gonna sell it.. cause i was too lazy to fix it.. but i just bought a fiberglass kit from pepboys and fixed it painted and it looks just like new again! well there are also shops that fix urathains.. (found out after i fixed mine). anything is fixable i think. and it is always cheaper if you do it yourself. that way u learn more and you feel proud in some ways that you fixed your own car. well that's how i felt... its not much but still i'm proud! :D

Yeah I had the same crack on the corner of my lip and I use that plastic repair stuff and it worked perfect. Untill I hit a f'ing incline thingy and tore the hell out of it again, I was too lazy to fix it. Also painted the lip myself and it looked good, concidering i didnt pay 150$(CND) to get it fixed at a body shop. Total came to like 28$. It is all about the prep work, that was proved to me when I got lazy sanding it down, everything was magnified with paint...
Also does anyone have a front lip they are willing to sell, as long as it is in one piece the shape does not matter?

go get a bondo fiberglass repair kit. follow the instructions. I'd take it off the car, patch it from the rear, and use kitty hair on the front.
