Hey guys,

I'm restoring a '97 kouki and I am stuck.:naw:

I was removing the right rad support but the bolt point inside the frame came off. The same thing happened in the back on both sides with a bracket that holds up the sub frame. Now the bolts are still there holding on the pieces but they spin indefinitely, because I can't access what now works as a nut on the inside of the frame. Know what I mean?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Got any ideas as to a solution?

Thanks, I appreciate any help!

Nick

Grind the head off the bolt.

I have a 4&1/2" grinder and the bolts are so deep it can't reach

I'll probably end up getting it out with a drill but I'm worried about how to reattach it later with the threads gone.

drill it out use a magnit to remove it then get a nut the same size with a big washer as part of the nut (if that makes sense) weld a piece of wire to it and put it down there cut the wire off afterwards thats how towbars are done sometimes and it works well

Thanks! I'll look into that!
