Yeah dude...front lip on the '95-'96's make it looks so much better.  It was standard on SE's, but base didn't come with them.  The lip on the '97-'98 totally changes the look of the car.  So much better with it...It's funny because they were stock in Aus. and Euro markets, but we can order the part through our Nissan dealer here?  WTF?  I wanna know they just didn't put them on here.  Always gettin' the shaft on the cool stuff here...

I think the biggest shaft we have gotten is the engine. I would rather have an SR in there than the fron lip. But if you thing about it, Nissan did us a favor because insurance on a turbo car is through the roof. We can turbo our KA's or swap Sr's and still pay insurance as if it were an NA car.

Hah..yeah..too bad if you're ever involved in an accident that damages some part of the engine, or something happens to the engine that insurance would pay for, you're only getting paid for a KA. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> &nbsp;Most likely though, if you're involved in an accident that does enough damage to damage the motor, you might as well get a new ride. &nbsp;

Amen to that... for as many really bad wrecks that caused an ITR or Civic Si to go to the junkyard with a base model engine, I figure you must have to be in a bad one to scrap that. &nbsp;I'm thinking your new ride will have small wheels in the front and big wheels in the back (complete with handles to push you!).

The real danger, to me, is strapping a $1200 FMIC to the nose of your car. &nbsp;How do you explain that one to insurance?

But anyway, the lip rules!! (as does Nismos14's skirts)

oh i agree 150 %! the side skirts improved the look about 3 fold it looks so much meaner now... a definate must for any 95-96 or 97-98 that doesnt have the side skirts

I talked to my insurance company today about a turbo and they said that I just have to have receipts for EVERYTHING that was done and all of the parts that are on the engine. Everything would be covered as long as I have receipts.

I know on most policies, the ins will cover a certain amount of modifications w/o a separate rider on the policy. &nbsp;Usually, this amount is limited to $1000. &nbsp;After that you're on your own or they will tell you that you should have let them know so they could adjust your premium.

they'll cover the turbo..... the next problem is having a place that will be able to work on the engine.
