THE CAR IS GONE!!! GOT ME A CLASSIC :naughtyd: MODS PLEASE CLOSE
I'm throwing this ad up to see what's out there for trades. I'm interested in almost anything RWD, AWD, or even FWD, from Datsun 510's to AE86's. Just throw me an offer and I'll let you know what I think. I would also be willing to trade for another S14 or an S13 Coupe. Whatever you offer HAS to pass smog. Call me crazy but I don't want an SR, CA, RB, or anything of that nature...for now, ha. Anyways, here's the info from both the previous owner's ad combined with what I now know about the car. I'm sure many of you saw this car for sale a few months ago since I just picked it up in February. As of right now it is NOT passing California smog and I don't want to put more time/money into this car.
As you can see, the registration is expired since I can't smog the car and get new tags. However, all of the late fees have been paid for and the car is currently registered and insured in my name. I have all the paperwork from both the previous owner and myself showing that there are no late fees or anything of that nature.
If I had to put a price on the car it would be $6500 OBO. I'm NOT in a rush to sell because I'm still trying to figure out the smog issues and I love the car to death. For now, I'm more looking to do a straight trade.
I just had the car serviced at Nissan and had the timing adjusted, along with the diagnosis of the error codes that are coming up. I just did an oil change this past week so the car is ready to go!

- CLEAN title
- Just under 170,000 Chassis Miles
- Approximately 110,000 miles on a bone stock '98 KA24DE
- AC/Heater works
- Power windows

- Completely stock and refreshed '98 KA24DE installed about 10k miles ago with new seals, plugs, wires, etc.
- Exedy OEM-Style clutch (changed during swap)
- 2.5" Greddy/Trust MX Exhaust (Japan-only exhaust discontinued since 2006)
- Peak Performance Transmission Bushing
- Replacement MAF

- DMax Clear Corners (Have amber ones as well)

Suspension/Footwork:
- Tanabe Sustec Pro Coilovers (~25k)
- SPC Tension Rods
- SPC Front Camber bolts
- Uras Super Pineapple Subframe bushings
- Greddy/Trust Front Strut Bar
- AME TM-02 Tracers 18x9.5 +22 FRONT, 18x10 +15 REAR
- Kyo-Ei 10mm Spacers (FRONT ONLY)
- PBM Rear Toe Rods
CONS:
- As I stated before the car is not passing smog due an EVAP code, a o2 sensor code, and the knock sensor. For someone who knows their way with smog, this should be a breeze. Or if you have a hookup for STAR then you're good to go. According to the error codes and what I have been told the car will need a purge control valve, new ECU (From a '98), and a knock sensor. I'm in the process of getting these parts.
- Small dent/scrape which is currently covered with stickers. I'm willing to take the stickers off if someone wants to see what's hidden.
- A few small pin prick dents which are only noticeable if you're looking for them
- The wheels are different colors if you consider that a con. I was told they were all painted the cream/gray color up front. The previous owner got wider rears (18x10 instead of 18x9.5) which is why they are different colors as of right now. I just got the fronts refinished and they are PERFECT. I'm planning on painting the rears the same color in the near future.
- Probably needs new tires
