First off why would you call that rice? I'm just curious.. What are the things that give you the vibe it's a ricer?
There is a big difference between rice cars & none rice cars. Rice cars are considered people who do not own the original car but they buy body kits/engine swaps etc. to make it look like a car that wasn't it. A non rice is actually having the original vehicle but since you might need to do some upgrades you can add new things to upgrade it but make it still look the same.. I put in my description it was a vehicle I was working on it wasn't fully done.. You don't need to bash on every single car you see just because you think it's a ricer which clearly is not.

i never knew this was a suburu forum
lmao it isn't but why does it matter I read what the forum says can talk about any car if you want. Typically people talk about 240SX, 350z, Skylines, and etc. However, I don't understand why people want it to be strictly based on those cars. Not everyone can get those cars right away & I am currently working on purchasing one. Just have an open mind man

Haha yeah I suppose but I got this WRX for an insanely nice price & it happened to be around right where I lived.. I couldn't miss up the opportunity.

"CF" hood
eBay looking tails
huge muffler
and blinding HIDs
you did it backwards, first you get the 240sx, then you get the wrx.
so if I got a 240, then a Subaru, then a 240 again is that wrong too?
lol

Not bad I've always liked subies looks pretty good in the red but doesn't look too crazy almost stock looking

OEM Hood it is just a little bigger but still OEM Carbon Fiber.
Tail lights yes are aftermarket but that still doesn't make it a ricer.
Muffler is HKS authentic & when we got it was suppose to be 3" but we measured it at like 5" I think which was messed up lmao..
Trust me the HID's where not blinding at all. It wasn't overly bright but it had a unique feature which some other people at a car meet pointed out. The HID made it look like it was mean mugging people with the HID as Eyebrows & the lights as the eyes. I honestly didn't recognize that until someone told me.
Only argument is the tail lights you have on me man.. but that doesn't declare it being a ricer.

Thank you very much man I appreciate it! When I first got it everything was stock that is why it was my project car. I was still working on it but then winter came around & I stopped working on it until summer comes back then go figure before summer starts again a female ended up totaling my car.. Trust me if I would've finished this it would looked way better because I had Front bumper/Side skirts to get painted then put them on myself then get downpiped installed. Everything we did to this vehicle me & my bro did ourselves.

True but when you need a car & it's a reliable nice car that is cheap like no other, and you check it out do full PMCS "Pr-Maintenance Checks & Services and it blows all other cars you checked out of the water." You tend to buy it. I didn't have a car at that point & sorry do you want me to delete this thread?

and unpainted CF hood on a stock body car?

First off he is outside of his Garage and is farther back. Secondly I was just taking pictures inside the Garage & you noticed my car is really close to the wall.
Dude trust me we tested it I rode in my brothers 350z & he drove behind me & we tested the difference between High beams/low beams. I am not going to be a complete deutchebag while driving on a road.
Also if you noticed I said I was still working on the car... Just winter came along & it was my only car and I needed to get to college & do other things with my life I couldn't finish it until next summer. I had side skirts/Front Bumper ready to get painted along with the hood but I put on the CF Hood because the old hood was messed up.

Okay are you mentally retarded? If you don't understand what I was saying then you must be. I did have the Original WRX Impreza but since it needed work I decided to throw my own mix with the headlight/tail lights but everything else was original. I'm assuming you graduated in Cali?

05-03-2013, 08:03 PM
You have THE original WRX?
Does Subaru know?
And I'm pretty sure the 02-07 wrx/sti hood weighs less than the carbon fiber replacement.
do you at least have pictures of the damage?

And you assume I am the one with mental retardation?
Stock Bugeye WRX hood weighs in at 15 lbs give or take an ounce.
Carbon fiber replacement is anywhere between 15-17lbs depending on the make. VIS, SEIBON, etc.
DRY CARBON FIBER is only 10lbs and I know for a fact you don't have one of those. Unless you want to explain to us why you spent $1000+ on 5lbs?
I've owned and modified 3 Subarus since 2004 and currently own a 2011 WRX. I hope I know slightly more than you.

LMAO I already addressed that earlier on, so not really anything new.
Haha dude you are going off what the internet? Seriously.. Also first off most of things I got for the vehicle I got insane deals on & not to mention everything we did to it like put on hood/lights/etc.. We did it ourselves which saves a lot of money also. Man you need to read through everything before you start throwing random questions out.
Dude I am calling out on your bullshit with the owned/modified 3 subies since 04 & you Currently own a 2011 WRX. It may be true but not likely, just saying. Most subie owners usually give some respect, and they have an open mind.

You put the hood and lights on ALL BY YOURSELF? a shop would have charged you at least 10 hours of labor plus dyno time.
You honestly made my weekend lol, Thank you. Goodnight.

Haha I didn't include the Wheels/Rotors/Intake/Exhaust & other things etc. Seriously man you are just making a complete fool of yourself. You want me to start naming everything we did? I'm sure you get the picture along with all the wiring inside the car which includes the deck/land nav/beltronics radar det etc..
